Amit Trivedi

I first searched about him after i heard Dev D album. I was totally mesmerized, it was long back in my 12th std, that time I really didn't care who sang the song or who composed it, but i was so drawn to it that i just open the Google and searched about album, because every single song of this album was of different genre, there are 18 songs in that album. From pure rock to some romantic ones kinda thing everything is there. i don't know what that was but that album is still very close to my heart.

There is song "Iktara" from movie Wake Up Sid!, it was masterpiece and loved that very much but i dint knew that it was composed my Amit. Actually, i liked the background score of that movie but i dint know that we can actually download background score or something, so whenever I used to feel like listening i use to watch that movie, but one day out of blue i just searched it on net and found out that it was Amit, and i was like WTF! how can he do it again!

And then came all other albums and he dint disappoint me not even once. I had once spent whole night watching all his videos which are out here on you tube, every single one of them be it interview or some composition. it inspires me in some way i don't know. i feel i am in some other world when i listen to its music. " I do Music Which i like to hear, i don't make music which people would like it." in his own words, so true and so raw. Its shocking to know that he is not trained or anything music is natural to him and that wad makes him genius.

Amit Trivedi is an Indian film composer, musician, singer and lyricist, working in Bollywood. After working as a theatre and jingle composer and composing for non-film albums, he debuted as a film composer in the 2008 Hindi film Aamir, and shot to fame in the Hindi film music scene with his critically acclaimed work in the more popular Dev.D (2009),^[2][3] which earned him several accolades, including the 2010 National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Dev.D.

Music provided by Amit Trivedi has always been different in tone & perspective. He has often collaborated with lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya who is known for his profound control of Hindi and Urdu as well as various folk languages. He often sings various of his compositions and is known for his distinct edgy/rustic voice. In one of his interviews, he stated that he never received formal training in singing and sings what sounds good to him.trivedi's music has a refined sense of instrumentation and follows a more varied range of orchestrated music.He often experiments with his music style changing aspects of the musical tune simultaneously in order to establish a different phase of soundtrack genre. I have never felt such strong attractive force towards music as his, A R Rahman will always be Legend but i guess Amit is Virat Kohli !! Make Your Judgement.
